நோயாளியின் பார்வையில்

முருகன் மூன்று சக்கர வண்டியில் வேலைக்கு செல்வார். அவர் அன்று வேலையில் இருந்து திரும்பிக் கொண்டு இருந்தார். காலையில் சுந்தரி ( அவரது மனைவி ) , மின் கட்டனம் கட்ட சொல்லி இருந்தாள். கட்டாவிட்டால் கரண்ட் கட் செய்து விடுவார்கள் என்ற எண்ணம், அவரைக் கவலைக்கு ஆக்கியது. 

சாலை போக்குவரத்து விளக்கு சிகப்பு நிறத்தில் இருந்த்தது. அவருக்கும் பச்சை நிறத்திற்கு மாறும் வரை காத்திருப்பது ஒரு யுகம் ஆகவே தோன்றியது.

மிகப் பெரிய அதிர்வு, சத்தம் காதை துளைத்தது. ஆனால் அந்த வலி, நரகத்தில் சித்திரவதை அனுபவிப்பதை போல்………. துடித்து தான் போனார். வலி எங்கே, காலிலா, தோள்பட்டையிலா….இல்லை இல்லை, இரண்டிலும் தான், இடது தோள்பட்டையும் வலது மூட்டிலும். 

முருகன் வலது கால் போலியோ பாதிக்க பட்ட கால், அதனால் தான் அவர் மூன்று சக்கர வண்டியில் பயனம். 

 பட்ட காலிலே படும் என்பார்கள், புரிந்தது,

ஆனால் படாத தோள் பட்டையிலுமா!

Age, wealth and health, the conundrum

 As we grow older as an adult, we tend to become wealthier in general

As personal wealth grows, we tend to spend more on ourselves and our family

This often equates to spending on what we eat

the more we eat, the less healthy we become

we need more money to get our health back to how it should be

we tend to work harder to make ourself wealthier!

hence as age increases, we tend to work harder to be more healthy and wealthy

is it what we aim in life? to work harder as we grow older?

time to pause and think

How to choose the best hospital, doctor at Trichy, India.

As a patient or a relative or well wisher of a patient, what are my priorities

              1. Am I in the right place or the hospital

              2. Am I seeing the best doctor

              3. Who should i be seeing for this problem

              4. How is that i can partake in the decision making process


1. A 24 hour access multi speciality hospital is always the better choice in emergencies

2.. Availability of doctors at all times with senior doctors with good experience and training

3.  Appropriate specialists for addressing the specific area problems with all facilities

4.  Hospital with Patient  centric focus with its vision, mission and values defined with patients' interest as its foremost interest.

The last of the four needs more attention

We encourage the patients to share their Ideas, Concerns and Expectations.

When the Ideas, Concerns and Expectations are shared with the doctors and the Care givers such as nurses, the treatment becomes more acceptable and satisfactory.

Staff trained with good communication skills to help with patients' and relatives concerns and to understand their ideas and expectations.

Kauvery Hospitals in South India have been leading the health care delivery in many of these  aspects and respects.
